How much do you willing to pay for WiMAX?

When Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications announced about the WiMax (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) services in Malaysia, the first question which came up into many people is How much will it cost? Will it be expensive than Streamyx which is the major broadband provider in Malaysia or will it be expensive compare to Streamyx and any other broadband & WiFi provider. I am paying RM88 monthly with 1Mbps, but do I get 1Mbps exactly? Apparently the answer is NO. Not only browsing but downloading through P2P is also throttled by Streamyx.
What’s your opinion about WiMax pricing? Does the price will be similar to Streamyx or not. And what are main thing you look forward from WiMax providers? If WiMax pricing is somehow closer to Streamyx then obviously I will be subscribing for WiMax instead of paying more for a poor service, now you pay the same amount of money for a better quality and better technology. And another consideration we should look into is, are you willing to pay your 6 months subscriptions at one go like what Izzi was offering? So how much you are will to pay for the WiMax service and how do you want the subscription method?

I’m willing to pay the same as Streamyx (RM88) but a STABLE line, speed can be 512 package la…
But I doubt that… I don’t think ANY Malaysia line is stable…
Yeah..but its all depends on the service provider, if many users are using the same line..then the service provider have too look for a way, how they gonna divide the bandwidth equally..rite..
