WordPress 2.3.1 Security Update Released

Folks over at Automattic have released WordPress 2.3.1. It’s a bug-fix and security release for the 2.3 branch. It contains over 20 bug-fixes and includes tagging support for Windows Live Writer. Here’s a brief list of important fixes:
- Tagging support for Windows Live Writer
- Fixes for a login bug that affected those with a Blog Address different than their WordPress Address
- Faster taxonomy database queries, especially tag intersection queries
- Link importer fixes
Based on the changes seen on trac, I have compiled upgrade-only version of 2.3.1 which includes only those files which have been updated since last release.
